Guglielmo Rocchiccioli - International Sommelier
My Life
Born and grown in Tuscany - the native land of italian wine - where I achieved the qualification of accountant to start working in my family run shop (an agricultural shop dated back 1937).
In 2001 I turned over a new leaf and enrolled at Faculty of Modern Languages, University Pisa , and I took my degree with the best mark in 2006 receiving the title of Dottore Magistrale in Lingue e Letterature Moderne Euroamericane (Master of Arts). According to the mentioned studies I developed my great passion, the WINE.
In 2005 together with my collegues I went to the Berlucchi farm to receive the Diploma of Winetaster.
My Passions
I like travelling and discovering the typical local dishes and wines. In the same time I like meeting local people to know their habits and customs.
My University carrier gives me the opportunity of becoming a great connoisseur of languages and literatures (Italian,Spanish and English).
